Most of the sales in Sheffield over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £158,923. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £130,466 and detached properties averaged at £287,946.
Sheffield, with an overall average price of £166,655, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Crookes (£171,316), but was more expensive than Walkley (£140,520) and Woodseats (£144,292).
In the past year house prices in Sheffield were 7% up on the year before and 6% up on 2010 when they averaged at £156,814
